Wigwam Resort, The Heritage Course, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
The Wigwam Resort offers three 18-hole championship golf courses. There you will find 54 holes of championship golf including one course designed by Robert "Red" Lawrence and two courses designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. And, in true Wigwam style, each course offers a unique challenge that adds spice and variety to one's stay at this timeless and relaxing retreat.
The Heritage Course, previously named The Red Course, was created by Robert "Red" Lawrence, the famed golf course architect responsible for Arizona's first desert golf course. Red is also credited with being involved with the designs of the Merion, Homestead, Westchester, and Desert Forest Golf Clubs. To this day, his work at The Wigwam perfectly complements Jones' courses. With a length between its two siblings and par 72, The Heritage Course plays alongside streams and ponds set among a forest of pines, cypress and eucalyptus trees.

Conditions are always great and the staff, especially the starters, are very friendly. This course is above average for the area and they keep their rates reasonable through the winter when a lot of similar quality courses tend to overcharge. Most of the holes are straight away and the course is very flat but the bunker placement and the water holes and trees give it just enough challenge. The #18 dog leg par 5 is a very interesting finishing test.

Friendly staff in clubhouse. Better than average course for the area. Some very nice holes especially 18 with a dogleg finish. I enjoyed the greens, very true.
